The most culturally and globally significant of Agatha Christie’s mysteries, the case of Murder On The Orient Express follows world renowned detective Hercule Poirot as he faces his ultimate challenge.
Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.
The Queen of Crime’s masterpiece remains a peak achievement of the Golden Age of Detective Fiction, and now you can see it brought to life right here in Buckhannon!

Kids Halloween Trunk or Treat

Washington District VFC Chicken BBQ
The Washington District Volunteer Fire Company holds its chicken barbecue in Tallmansville, with dine-in and carry-out this year.
Plates are $15, and a half chicken alone is $10. Serving starts at 11 a.m. and runs until sold out. Five vendors will be set up, and Reed Chapel will be making apple butter.
Healthy Hero Hustle 5K Run/Walk & Community Health Fair
WVU Medicine St. Joseph's Hospital and West Virginia Wesleyan College are sponsoring the 3rd Annual Healthy Hero Hustle 5K Run/Walk and Community Health Fair to promote healthy living.
