7:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Audrey’s Downtown Restaurant
38 North Kanawha Street

Several years ago Lewis Anderson, at the time a county deputy, began the first bluegrass gathering at the county jail. From there over a period of a few years it moved around. From the jailhouse it moved to Lester Kendrick’s music store on Main Street, to an industrial building where Lowes now sits, to Lewis County, and now back in Buckhannon. This energetic, live performance is great fun!

7:30 PM – 9:30 PM
Lascaux Micro-Theater
33 East Main Street
Buckhannon, WV 26201

For the month of November, Lascaux Micro-Theater brings:

LUCKY follows the spiritual journey of a 90-year-old atheist and the quirky characters that inhabit his off the map desert town. Having out lived and out smoked all of his contemporaries, the fiercely independent Lucky finds himself at the precipice of life, thrust into a journey of self-exploration, leading towards that which is so often unattainable: enlightenment. Acclaimed character actor John Carroll Lynch’s directorial debut, “Lucky”, is at once a love letter to the life and career of Harry Dean Stanton as well as a meditation on mortality, loneliness, spirituality, and human connection.

Check out the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KLLkj84GAo

“Lucky serves as a first-rate showcase for its star as well as an ideal swan song. The man couldn’t have gone out any better.” – Mike D’Angelo, AV Club

“If you’re a Harry Dean Stanton fan, seeing him get a rare lead in “Lucky” is a kind of present and fond farewell. And if you’re not a fan – yet – it’s an essential introduction.” – Joe Leydon, Variety

With a 98% rating from Rotten Tomatoes, this is a film you won’t want to miss.

We plan to screen this film at our usual times of Friday & Saturday @ 7:30PM and Sunday @ 2:00PM through this month.

See you at the movies!
