Pringle Tree Park

Summary:

The Pringle Tree is the site of the first permanent settlement west of the Alleghenies in Virginia where brothers Samuel and John Pringle lived in a hollowed Sycamore Tree from 1764 - 1767.  The 3rd generation tree stands at Pringle Tree Park to this day.
