James W. Curry Park

Experience country bliss – James W. Curry Park is one of Upshur County’s hidden treasures with 20 campground sites for RVs, campers and rustic tents plus a full service public library.

James W. Curry Park, also known as Brooks Hill, is located in Selbyville. In addition to campsites, the park offers picnic pavilions, grills, playground equipment and restrooms. Pavilions can be reserved for social events.  Electrical hook-ups are available for RVs and campers. The on-site library is available to campers & visitors to access Free WIFI, books, movies & games.

Annual events and special programming happen throughout the year such as the Pickin in the Park Bluegrass Festival and the Brooks Hill Fair.

Nearby attractions include Swiss Village Helvetia, Pickens and the WV Wildlife Center.
