UC Healthy Grandfamilies Summer Sessions

Join us for our summer Healthy Grandfamilies sessions beginning Thursday, June 12th from 11:30am to 1:00pm, every Thursday (except July 4th week) throughout July for informative sessions, lunch, child care/activities for the kids, and talking in a safe space.

These sessions are for ANY grandparents raising their grandchildren for ANY reason, full or part time. We want to give our grandparents the tools they need to help their grandchildren thrive.

Each week we get together and eat lunch and while the children play together, we work with a presenter (or two) each week on different topics to learn and ask the questions you want answers. There are no big presentations. We sit and talk with the experts who most usually have lived experience like you.

Each family will receive a gift card for weekly attendance and a grocery gift card if the majority of the sessions are attended. (We usually have other goodies along the way.) We don’t judge, and we usually form relationships. We are here for your needs.

**Kinship/relative families are invited as well. We just need to remind everyone that not all supports or programs are available to all groups.**

BCT Presents “Mamma Mia”

“Mamma Mia!” is a feel-good musical set on a Greek island, centering on Sophie, a young bride-to-be, and her quest to discover the identity of her father before her wedding. Her mother, Donna, had three potential suitors in her past, all of whom Sophie secretly invites to the wedding. The musical features 22 hit songs by ABBA, weaving a story of love, family, and friendship.
