Presented by Artistry on Main, Beginning (Spindle) Wood Turning by Rich Clemens will be one session held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

This class will focus on basic components of a lathe, turning tools, tool sharpening, with emphasis on safety equipment and safe operation. As time permits each student will be encouraged to experience the joy of woodturning with instructor guidance. Students are welcome to bring their own turning tools and safety supplies (safety glasses and dust masks) if available.

Students will be required to sign a hold harmless agreement that desire to operate the lathe. There is space for a minimum of 2 students and a maximum 8 student. The cost is $25 with all materials supplied.
