This year, ten MANHATTAN SHORT finalists hail from seven countries with films from France, Iran, Canada, Finland, and Germany alongside two films from USA and a record three from the United Kingdom. These films represent the best short films from among 1,250 submissions from 70 countries received by MANHATTTAN SHORT for 2019, testimony to the enduring vibrancy and creativity of short films worldwide. As you may remember from past years, everyone gets to vote for their favorite film and actor.

Votes will be sent to MANHATTAN SHORT’s headquarters, and the winner will be announced at ManhattanShort.com on Monday, October 7, at 10:00AM EST. The directors and actors anxiously await your decision.

This is the 14th year that we have brought this festival to Buckhannon, and LASCAUX continues to be the only place in West Virginia to see it! Reservations can be emailed back to lascauxmicrotheater@gmail.com or left at the theater hotline (304-473-1818).

As usual, ¾ Café will be open for dinner service on Friday and Saturday evenings (5PM-Close), and Sunday brunch (10AM-2PM).
