Join Artistry on Main for an Intro to Alcohol Ink Part II with Brandi Losh!
This is a beginner to intermediate workshop using alcohol ink on tile to make 4 art tiles / coasters. Students will learn how to create a beautiful abstract painting and landscape painting.
A few of the topics that you can look forward to are:
- Building on what you learned in Part I; there will be a review so if you missed Part I that is OK!
- What makes Alcohol Ink different from traditional paint mediums
- What materials and tools you need to start creating
- Safety – this one is more important that you might realize!
- Some different methods for applying alcohol ink to your glass, and what each one will produce
- Choosing your colors and basic color theory
- Planning your compositions
- Creating your own final abstract / landscape piece of artwork
- How to properly seal and protect your work
