Make plans to join us on Sunday May 19 for the annual Jack Barker Memorial Race & FUN Paddle on the Buckhannon River! This event has been held for 48 years as part of the WV Strawberry Festival in Buckhannon.
Out & Back paddle starting/ending from Riverwalk/Wood St. Park for a total distance of 3.8 miles. Race & FUN paddle start at noon
Join as a non-competitive FUN paddler or sign up to race in one of the following categories:
Stand Up Paddle Board
1 person Kayak/Canoe
2 people Kayak/Canoe
2+ people Canoe
Sprint race will start after the main race and is a total distance of 1.7 miles geared towards families/youth, but anyone is welcome to participate!
