The Upshur County Historical Society presents …..
Food, Foodways and Farming in Upshur County; when we grew most everything we ate.
This 2021 Summer Exhibit will feature displays of photographs, equipment and a collection of stories that shaped the farming and food culture in Upshur County.
This exhibit is held within the History Center Museum – an historic structure, built in 1856 and the oldest extant building on Main Street in Buckhannon. The building played a role during the Civil War years in Upshur County. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
