Pruning is both a skill and an art. Knowing when and how to prune involves skill. Knowing where to cut for optimum fruitfulness and beauty of a plant is the art. In these classes we will be covering all those necessary skills needed to prune effectively, including choice of tools. Discussions of different types of fruiting trees and shrubs and when to prune will be covered. The first half of the class will a discussion of pruning theory and a general question and answer period. Weather permitting, the second half of the class will involve hands-on experience in the field.

This course is taught by Tom Lynch and is One Session, Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (with an hour break for lunch). The cost is $35 which includes all materials. To register, please visit: Artistry On Main.
