We pride our festival in being known as an “Exciting Family Tradition.” For 9 fun-filled days, guests of all ages will enjoy the Strawberry Gift Shop, Multiple Parades, a Strawberry Auction, Arts & Craft Shows, Family Fun Night, a Pet Show, Live Entertainment, Food Vendors and more! WVSF Purse Bingo

Join us for a Mother’s Day WVSF Royalty Purse Bingo on May 12th at The Outpost & Event Center. Doors will open at 12:30 and games start at 2pm. They will also be selling tips nd 50/50 raffle tickets.

Jack Barker Memorial Race & FUN Paddle

Make plans to join us on Sunday May 19 for the annual Jack Barker Memorial Race & FUN Paddle on the Buckhannon River! This event has been held for 48 years as part of the WV Strawberry Festival in Buckhannon.

Out & Back paddle starting/ending from Riverwalk/Wood St. Park for a total distance of 3.8 miles. Race & FUN paddle start at noon

Join as a non-competitive FUN paddler or sign up to race in one of the following categories:

Stand Up Paddle Board

1 person Kayak/Canoe

2 people Kayak/Canoe

2+ people Canoe

Sprint race will start after the main race and is a total distance of 1.7 miles geared towards families/youth, but anyone is welcome to participate!
